I keep thinking of things that I forgot to mention in my trip recap, so I figured I'd just do a follow up post!

1. Stroopwafels!  OMG I'm pretty sure I could eat my weight in stroopwafel! Click the link to see/read what more about them, but basically they're a cookie/waffle (similar to a waffle cone for ice cream) with a caramel syrup in the middle. Sanne and I had fresh stroopwafel at the Zevenaar market Friday night.

2. The long dogs at Hema! The brand is Let's Go Shopping, but in my Google quest to find the brand (because I couldn't remember), I've found that the wiener dogs are originally from an illustrator Fiep Westendorp and her series of Jip en Janneke, which apparently are very popular children's books in Holland.

This is what started my love:

Sanne bought me this and it currently houses all my tea at my office. I also bought a little zipper pouch with the long dogs at Hema as well.

3. I can't believe I forgot to mention this in my Paris recap. The traffic! OMG it was so scary! Thank gawd I wasn't driving, but just being in the passenger seat made me nervous. There's either no lanes on the streets, or people don't follow them and just drive wherever they want. It was so crazy. I thought NYC traffic was rough, this took it to a whole new level. And little moped-ers were the WORST! They zip and out and in the spaces between cars.

4. The boys. Did I forget to mention the boys? They are so freakin adorable! I thought I would think they were all too feminine hahaha. You know that American image we all have. But they are pretty darn cute.

OK I think that's about all for now...

PPFM - The back in action edition

I have seriously been slacking in the blogging department, so I'm getting back in action and linking up for Phone Photo Fum Monday with the gorgeous Miss Savannah and Ashlee.

I have never been in love with my office chair, so I'm always on the look out for a new one. I saw this pink loveliness at Office Max the other day and snapped a picture to bring to my boss and ask if it could be my new chair!

I bought a hammock for my back yard! I haven't used it much yet, but it's about time I start.

I signed up to sell Thirty-One! I'm not sure how much I'll actually do with it, but once I decided to leave Scentsy, I wanted a new tax deduction, and I love the patterns in the starter kit (um hello $350 in product for $199), so I went for it. So far I have been impressed with the training offered and the introduction to the company.

I bought an at-home gel manicure UV light set from CVS. I was a little skeptical, but I LOVE it. It came with red polish, which is my go to color, but now I'm looking for other gel polishes. I'm a little bummed that regular polish won't work (as well) in it since I have so many colors I love.

I bought two new watches. Horn and rose gold. LOVELOVELOVE

I got tired of getting my hair done so often and decided to go back to my natural color. So far I'm liking it.

Saturday was the ribbon cutting for Play for All Abilities Park in Round Rock. My employer is a major donor and the park sits on their former home site. It is so neat! I'm excited that Round Rock has something like this.

I love that the village pod has working lights!

It looks just like our stores!

Our owner being the monkey in the middle of the jugglers!

No gorgeous Spring weekend is complete without a trip to Charming Charlie!

And last, but not least, a gratuitous picture of my girls!
