This blog

When I started this blog I wanted to keep continuity with my tumblr and the name. But then it grew. I wanted this to be a place for more than just MBA updates. A place for life updates.

I have always joked since I moved into my house that it is 'life on the prairie.' At the time I was one of the only house on the block and there was no development to the south. The wind blows hard out here, and though I am in the city, it is still at times feels a little Laura Ingalls Wilder.     


It's tough to see through the iPhone picture, but winds were steady at 20 mph over the weekend. The epitome of prairie life.

One evening my dear friend Amanda and I were discussing my prairie life and she dubbed my little sanctuary Little House on the Prairie. We joked that would be great blog name. And so we have: Meg and Her Long Dogs...Little House on the Prairie blog.
